
Chris “SilK” Terry
Chris, widely known as “Silk,” hails from Winston-Salem, NC. He has showcased his musical talents nationally and internationally, sharing stages with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and iconic groups such as The Drifters, The Coasters, The Platters the O’Jays, Little Anthony and The Imperials, The Temptations, and many others.
His performances have graced notable venues, including national stages for “NASCAR,” The NFL’s “Washington Redskins,” and The PGA’s “Masters,” among others. In 2016, Chris received the “Rising Star” Award at “The Cammys.”
Chris “Silk” Terry has curated an ensemble of All-Star musicians and vocalists, boasting Multi-Platinum and Grammy Nominated talent. His latest musical venture is the band “Silk Groove.”

Silk Groove is a dynamic project led by veteran musician Adrian Fowler. With a career spanning decade, Adrian’s journey began in 1990 when he secured a record deal with LMR Records, a subsidiary of RCA. This achievement led to collaborations with influential artists like Stevie B and Roger Troutman of Zapp, shaping his sound and stage presence. Adrian’s extensive touring history includes stints with legendary groups such as The Drifters and other bands, showcasing his versatility and seasoned performance skills. Inspired by his father, Charles “Chops” Fowler, and the iconic voice of Luther Vandross, Adrian brings a “silky smooth voice with a dynamic stage presence” to every performance. Beyond his work with Silk Groove, Adrian also commands a big band show, paying homage to timeless classics by Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick, and Michael Bublé.

EZRA PRICE – From singing in the church as a kid to singing on the big stages across the United States. Ezra has enjoyed sharing his love for music with people of all ages. Singing country,pop,r&b,and soul. It’s never been about the genre of music,but the universal language that brings people together. Ezra is an entrepreneur who is the Proud owner of Debonair Syndicate Co LLC.

Kacey Leak, the vocalist/guitarist hailing from Midway, NC, initiated his musical journey and developed a deep passion for music through his involvement with the church. Kacey’s musical prowess has led him to perform with esteemed groups, including The Platters, The Drifters, and the late great Ollie Wilson. Having traveled and showcased his musical talents both nationally and internationally, Kacey Leak currently holds the role of music director for Silk Groove.

Vic began his professional career after attending the Guitar Institute (G.I.T.) in Los Angeles, playing on the West Coast, Canada, Nevada, Colorado and more. Upon returning to the East Coast, he and his wife Kathy played for T. Skorman Productions out of Orlando, Florida. They toured the Southeastern states for almost a decade. Over the years, he has had his own party band, Gruv Dawgs, and has played and sung for many top Carolina groups including The Entertainers, Breeze Band, Fantasy Band, The Ember feat. Craig Woolard and others. He enjoys a mix of Soul, Funk, Rock, Blues, Jazz Fusion and Urban Gospel. Known for his funky rhythm and bluesy lead and vocal work, he is also an Indie Artist, writing and producing his own unique brand of music for himself and others. His musical knowledge, versatility, and soulful style are his trademark.

Turner Battle is a composer, arranger, keyboardist, and an award-winning producer. He was the principal arranger for The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Blue and Gold Marching Machine Band from 1980 to 1987. He has been involved in projects heard on MTV, HBO and Bobby Jones Gospel. He has composed and arranged original music for companies such as Cricket Phone, Partners Insurance, Volvo, Wachovia, RJR Nabisco and Brenner Children’s Hospital. He has also performed or produced music with Tom Browne, Barbara Weathers, Kirk Whalum, Ndugu Chancler, Alyson Williams, Melba Moore, The Shirelles, Paul Leka, Eve Cornelius, Norman Connors, The Platters, Archie Bell, Jean Carne, The Tymes, Charlie Thomas’ Drifters, Ronnie Laws, and more. He has also presented master classes and participated in workshops. He is also an Addy and Telly Award winning voice over artist who has worked with clients such as Coke, Time Warner, Harley Davidson, PBS, Spectrum, Union Pacific, Citi, NCA&T State University, Nike, McDonald’s, Clear Channel, US Army, Wayfield Foods, The Seattle Seahawks, Carnival Games, Chevrolet, Sealy, National Museum of African American History and Culture and Clemson University.
